“DÉFI 150 minutes : c’est la CLÉ” Challenge
From November 18 to 24, 2024, take up the“DÉFI 150 minutes : c’est la CLÉ” challenge!
This event is a Nautilus Plus initiative to contribute financially to the prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyle habits in our society.
According to WHO recommendations, everyone should perform at least 150 minutes of moderate to sustained intensity physical activity per week to achieve better health and overall well-being. In line with this recommendation, Nautilus Plus is launching the second edition of the “DÉFI 150 minutes : c’est la CLÉ”, which will take place the week of November 18, 2024.
The challenge is to complete 150 minutes of physical activity over the course of the week, using Nautilus Plus facilities free of charge.
All donations will be donated to the Chaire de leadership en enseignement sur la promotion des saines habitudes de vie – Nautilus Plus, in the Department of Kinesiology in the Faculty of Medicine at Université Laval. The aim of this entity is to bring together different types of knowledge concerning the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits, to improve teaching practices in this area and thus enhance the health and well-being of the population.
Your goal?
Complete 150 minutes of physical activity during the week (about 30 minutes a day) and complete the challenge in one of our branches Sunday, November 24!
When and where?
Complete your challenge at any Nautilus Plus* center and join all participants for the closing day on
Sunday, November 24, 2024.
*The official last day of the challenge will take place on Monday, November 25 at Place Montréal Trust, Berri-UQAM, Place Victoria and Place Ville-Marie branches.
How to participate?
- INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGE ($25 per person)
Complete 150 minutes of physical activity of your choice over the course of the week and complete the last 30 minutes on Sunday, November 24. - TEAM CHALLENGE ($250 for the team)
In teams of 3 to 5 people, you must each complete 150 minutes of physical activity of your choice on Sunday, November 24. - DONATE

What physical activities can I do?
All types of physical activity count! At Nautilus Plus, come walk, run, cycle, do yoga, Zumba and more! Physical activities are chosen by the participant and can be different each day and within the same session:
- Various cardiovascular equipment – stationary bike, treadmill, stairclimber, elliptical trainer, rowing machine, etc.
- Weight machines and free weights
- Various group classes: yoga, Zumba, Power Fit, Bootcamp, Tabata, stationary bike, etc.
- Teams will be supervised by a Nautilus Plus personal trainer on the official day of the challenge.

All week from November 18 to November 24, 2024, Nautilus Plus opens its doors free of charge to all DÉFI participants, whether Nautilus Plus members or not.
