I am 58 years old, with two grownups who have given me 4 grandsons. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough energy to take part in games with them if a physical effort was required on my part. I was that boring grandpa.
I was a retired person who didn’t do much with his life other than sitting on the couch watching TV, playing games on his tablet, and eating. One day, I figured that I’d had enough and that I would not miss out on my retirement with my wife, children, and grandchildren anymore. Driven by self-guilt, I decided to take charge and that I would not live life on the sidelines anymore. It was time for action, and I had to get back in shape. Despite my resolve, I was a bit hesitant at first. I was afraid of commitment, but in the end I was able to overcome my fear and move forward. I have no regrets. It’s only been 7 weeks, and I have already lost 16 pounds. I now have enough energy to go out and play with my grandchildren. Grandpa is proud of himself.
